Jenny's artistic journey began behind the lens, capturing the world's beauty through photography. She spent many years as a professional photographer undertaking numerous varied assignments. Whilst traveling on vacation to diverse and vibrant landscapes such as Mombasa and walking with lions in Mauritius, she never imagined that, one day, she would be painting these majestic animals.
Seven years ago, she underwent a creative evolution, transitioning from photography to the world of painting. Experimenting with various mediums, she explored a spectrum of artistic expressions before settling on the use of acrylics. Her paintings, imbued with depth and realism, reflect a rich tapestry of experiences and inspirations gathered from her travels and encounters with nature's wonders.
This new direction yielded remarkable results. Her work has been honored with several awards, most notably being awarded a 'Supporting All Artists' prize in the prestigious SAA Awards for her painting "Bee-eater," which was also sold at the SAA's Nottingham exhibition.
